 After
an intense one year testing process, Dr. Arnold was awarded
a Fellowship in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics. He accepted
his award at the annual meeting of the Academy in Marco Island,
Florida in 2004.
The Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics has become one
of dentistry’s leading groups in the field of esthetic
dentistry and reconstructive dentistry, and many of dentistry’s
leading speakers and clinicians are included in its membership,
or are in process of achieving their fellowship.
Dr. Arnold had to pass both a rigorous written examination
covering dental photography, esthetic dental materials,
orthodontics, restorative dentistry and occlusion. Then
he had to present two different patient cases to the examining
committee.
The examining committee judges the final result of treatment,
the materials used, the appropriateness of the treatment
plan and the quality of the dental photography used to
demonstrate the cases. Dr. Arnold’s case passed all
of the qualifications in order for him to earn his fellowship.
In fact, Dr. Arnold was recently elected as Chairman of
the FACE Written Examination Committee. He was elected
as a result of his excellent scores, his continued commitment
to organized dentistry, and his passion for improving the
education of dentists worldwide in the field of Functional
Esthetic Dentistry.
