Dr. Jim Arnold grew up in Valparaiso and has practiced dentistry in Porter County since 1996. SmilesByArnold & Associates offers comprehensive dental care to the families of this area and is proud to support the community that supports us. The SmilesByArnold Foundation is one more way for us to make a difference for others.
The SmilesByArnold Foundation was established in 2006 to benefit the young people of Northwest Indiana. We feel strongly that youth should have the opportunity to excel in academics, sports, and other extracurricular activities. To this end, the Foundation will be contributing funds to worthy organizations and individuals for the betterment of our region’s young people.
In the spirit of Making a Difference, we will be giving academic scholar-ships to deserving high school graduates. Additionally, we will be contributing to other local and national groups that raise funds to benefit young people.
Dr. Arnold is also proud to support the AACD’s Give Back a Smile Program (GBAS). Through GBAS, volunteer dentists rebuild the smiles of survivors of domestic abuse. The GBAS has helped over 1000 survivors nationwide, giving them hope and something to smile about. “This is really close to my heart, as we have been able to help survivors return to a better life than they once had,” said Dr. Arnold.
