Tammy has become a familiar face to many patients over the past couple of years. She has done everything from assisting the dentists and hygienists to working in the front office. As our office manager, she brings positivity and enthusiasm to our team. When she is not at work, she and her husband, Steve, enjoy spoiling their two small children, Tyler and Heather. Tammy also enjoys scrapbooking and "making memories" with her family.
Lois: Dental Assistant
Lois is a wonderful dental assistant with more than twenty years of experience. She enjoys meeting new people and spends every day helping make patients feel comfortable and relaxed. Lois is a terrifically well-organized and keeps things running smoothly. She is married to Dave and has a son and daughter. In her free time, she likes to travel, entertain friends and family, and she loves to cook
Jamie: Dental Assistant
Jamie loves working in the Dental field and feels that is been very rewarding for her. She has ten years of experience in a Periodontic practice and with the Smiles By Arnold team. The two areas are very different, but she is glad to have experience and knowledge in both areas. The patients are great, and she enjoys talking to them and taking care of their needs. She has two wonderful children, a boy and a girl, who she loves spending time with when she’s not working. She enjoys bike riding and taking their Boston terrier for walks.
Amanda: Dental Hygienist
Amanda worked as a dental assistant for three years during dental hygiene school. She graduated 1st in her class from Indiana University Northwest. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She loves meeting new people and is excited to continue her career as a dental hygienist.
Kinlynn: Dental Hygienist
Kinlynn has been in the dental field for 15 years working as a dental assistant before becoming a very competent and knowledgeable dental hygienist. She graduated from IU South Bend with honors in 1995. Kinlynn has been married for seven wonderful years and has a beautiful son who is two years old. When not at work Kinlynn enjoys scrapbooking with her friends and spending time at the lake with her family.
Nicole: Dental Hygienist
Nicole grew up in Merrillville and finished dental hygiene school in ’99. She lives in Valpo with her husband, Matthew and their yellow lab, George. They enjoy camping, being outdoors, going to concerts, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Kim: Dental Hygienist
Kim graduated in 1985 with a dental hygiene degree from Indiana University. Her husband works at Indiana Furniture, and they have three children. Kim loves what she does and appreciates being able to make a profound difference in patients’ lives. Her kind heart, extensive knowledge, and gentle touch make her an outstanding dental hygienist. In Kim’s spare time, she enjoys participating in and watching sports. She also enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
Mandy: Dental Hygienist
Mandy has been in the dental field for more than 10 years. She worked as a dental assistant for 3 years while in dental hygiene school. In 2002 she graduated from Indiana University. Outside of work Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 beautiful girls.
Cheryl: Dental Hygienist
Cheryl was a dental assistant for one year prior to graduating from Indiana University Northwest in 1986 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has practiced in and maintains a dental hygiene license in Wisconsin and Indiana. She has been married 18 years to Randy and has two awesome children Evan and Madisyn. She absolutely loves her career and prides herself on being thorough, yet gentle. She enjoys meeting new people and spending time with family and friends.
Shelly Martinez: Treatment Coordinator
Shelly is the newest addition to our team. She brings with her 24 yrs. Of vast dental experience ranging from specialty to general practice. She enjoys working closely with patients to help them achieve their dental goals.
When not interacting with patients Shelly spends time with her husband and daughter and is active in animal rights awareness and artistic expression.
